Joy’s POV

“Is Dante coming?” Lex asked sleepily from the couch, just when I was about to tip toe my way outside.

“Yeah,” I sheepishly answered while hugging my shoes close to me.

“Oh ok,” he answered as he got up. “Here, let me help you to the door. You could have rested here by the way. You don’t look in a condition to travel,” he added. What a gentleman!

“I am sorry. I didn’t mean to wake you up or go without telling. I was about to write a note to you. I already feel bad for imposing myself on you and overstaying my welcome,” I sheepishly replied.
