“Here. Drink this. It will help you recover faster,” Lex respectfully said and quickly disappeared from the room as soon as I took the hot steaming mug from him in both of my hands.

My stomach did a weird flip when he practically ran away from me.

Talk about strange things and height of ignoring someone.

Ever since I woke up, he had been averting his gaze to anywhere else but at me and was way more respectful and gentleman like than I could bear.
