Chapter 18. Forbidden Attractions

Joy’s POV

“Hey there nerd!” a familiar, male voice cooed as a big warm hand caressed my head. “You look pretty banged up. You could easily be the poster child for the ‘Ugly Duckling’ ,” he added with a chuckle.

This idiot, ughh.

But my head hurt so bad.

What happened?

My head spun as the haranguing sound of someone old and female crying bled my internal mind ears. I felt a splitting headache threatening to burst my head like a volcano.

“I would kill for a bucket load of aspirin,” I grunted, squelching my eyes tightly so that the frown appearing in the middle of the eyes could stop the throbbing pain. “What happened to me?” I asked as I tried to sit up but miserably failed doing so and making the fvcking handsome clown chuckle at me.

Cries. Old Woman. On knees. Deception. Luna. Wolves. Rogues. Head. Smashed. Pushed. Rolling. Waterfall. Death.
