Joy’s POV

I could feel the ache in my shoulders from writing in the library for so long. However, I had to get this done by tonight or else, I would not be able to study for my other subjects.

“I don’t get it. If Lex is a year younger to you, how is he giving the same tests as you,” Dante asked as he finished flipping through the last magazine.

What the fvck was he even reading?

“You didn’t listen to the Vice Chancellor when he spoke, did you?” I smirked and Dante shrugged his shoulders in response as if to say that he didn’t care.

He lay back on his chair and crossed his legs over the table and sighed, “Stop studying, nerd. I just scanned all hot models front and back since our Grandpas’ times, and now even I am beat! C’mon let’s go and grab a bite,” he urged.

“No, I can’t, Dante,” I said as I schooled myself to not get tempted by his offer.

“Oh c’mon! Do you want to live here the night on an empty stomach?” he asked.
