Chapter 36. Identity Revealed
The sexual tension that was in the room minutes ago had dissipated like smoke.
“When the man grabbed me,” Myla spoke up, her voice trembling a little as she remembered that traumatic night. “His hands were rough, like he worked with them a lot, not like an office worker’s hands would be.”
“So, construction crew then,” Jared concluded. “That will make so much sense. The way the hiding place in the therapy room was set up showed strategy.” His head snapped to Hayden as a thought came to his mind. “The crew that did your therapy room, are they the same ones that handled the new house?”
“Yeah… fuck me. Yes, they were the same ones.” Hayden hissed out. “But…why don’t I remember him? I carefully monitored the construction of that place.”
The room went silent as they all cracked their brain
