Chapter 20

I.T. tracked Raine. He told the brothers that they are headed towards the Vanderbilt estate. Meanwhile in Marty’s car.

“You know the club will come after me.” Raine cautioned.

“I know, I have it all planned out.” Marty smirked.

That was what Raine was waiting on. An excuse to goad him into bragging about what he done. Anything to get him admitting to illegal activity to put him away for good.

“Yeah right! What do you know about plans?” Raine asked.

“Honey, I am now king of our hometown. The cops and dr*g dealers are all on my payroll. I control them. And they are all ready to give your club a great big welcome party!” Marty laughed.

“Yeah, well my guys will be ready for that I trust them and know they will help me.” Raine replied.

“Honey your trust is in the wrong people. You need to put your trust in me. I always get my way.” Marty grinned.

“I can’t trust you. Not when I know you’ve been keeping secrets from me!” Raine retorted.
