Alpha Aiden’s POV

I could see Laila’s breath hitch as she looked at all of us in the room. She had no choice now than to spit out everything.

“I-It’s true” she confessed quietly as she looked at the ground. My mother gasped and looked at her.

“How could you do that Laila?” My mother asked her in disappointment.

“I’m really sorry, ma, but Camille gave me a reason too, she has been very disrespectful towards me and I did it to put her in place” Laila said as she looked at Camille, Camille just looked at Laila back but saying anything.

“You should have told someone, than lying and stirring up all those troubles Laila” I told her.

For the first time since the gathering, Camille spoke, “don’t you think I deserve an apology. I got whipped for what I didn’t commit, got called names and the only thing you could say was why didn’t she report me? Is that the only thing you could say” she asked me, disgust in her voice.
