Chapter 105. Weird Behavior

Owen’s POV

"Do you miss our mate? Why don’t you call her?" Ulric asked for the umpteenth time. He’s been like this for an hour, almost sounding like a broken record. I sighed and dialed Genevieve’s number again but I got no response.

"Why isn’t she responding?" he asked out of frustration. I haven’t seen or spoken to Genevieve ever since we parted ways at the fundraiser. That was yesterday. I called, texted, and even went to her home but I couldn’t find her anywhere. It was almost as if she vanished into thin air. But it’s been barely twenty-four hours so I didn’t want to jump to conclusions. But on the other hand, we’ve never spent this much time without speaking to each other before.
