I sighed getting out of the car and walking towards the front door completely relieved that I was done with work for the day. I opened the door with my keys and headed in.

"I’m home," I called out in a loud tone, removing my coat and hanging it on the coat rack.

"Welcome back mum," I heard Genevieve’s voice. I turned towards her and she smiled at me. The scene I saw before me made my eyes widen in surprise.

"What is going on here?" I asked cutting her off. She was with Luke and they were both sitting in front of the television with a box full of snacks in front of them. I thought Gen hated him. I was glad they were starting to get along but when did they get so cozy?
