"It’s not her," Remus informed me as soon as Genevieve flung herself on my body.

"I knew it," I responded. I didn’t feel the connection I normally felt when I was with her. I became certain of it when I heard all the allegations against Nolan. We might have had our ups and downs but he would never betray me in that way. Genevieve too would never say such things. I held her head closer to my body as she spoke and shook my head at him. He stared at me confusion written all over his face. I gestured with my hand trying to tell him about my findings.
