Chapter 122. Secret Exposed

Owen’s POV

Whispers of uncertainty hung in the air. Everyone was left perplexed by Audrey’s confession while those who had lost their loved ones were wailing in pain.

"A dark wolf? That can’t be. I’ve lived longer than you but I’ve only heard of them in stories. Young lady, are you sure of what you are saying?" my father’s gamma inquired.

"Of course, she doesn’t know what she’s talking about. Audrey is drunk, can’t none of you tell? She tends to spout rubbish whenever she’s drunk. Stop it now, your attempt at making a joke isn’t funny anymore," Nolan chided her through gritted teeth.

"I’m not drunk and I know what I’m talking about. Shouldn’t you all be more concerned about finding out who the dark wolf is?" she insisted stubbornly. She was determined to screw us all over. They all began whispering again. Father cleared his throat.

"Can I have your attention everyone?" he asked in an authoritative tone.
