Hazel's POV
"Hello, Alpha."
"Luna."
He had his hand encircling her waist, and they were so close. We had already climbed the short stairs to the manor and were at the open entrance of the large room. This was the same room I had been dragged into the first day I was brought here. Memories flashed—ugly ones—and I shivered a little.
The Luna turned to me, and I immediately saw shock and fear, then it was gone. It was fleeting, but I took notice of it.
"What is she doing here?" Anger was now the dominant emotion blanketing her face.
"She’s got the nerve to get angry. We should be the ones getting angry. The treacherous, slithering bitch!" Lia growled angrily in my head, and the weight of her anger caused a slight ache around my temples. But I didn’t stop her; her anger was well understood and very well felt.
