Hazel's POV

“This room is so spacious, Hazel!” Lia squealed and danced in my head. I chuckled, and mistakenly, it came out, and the Alpha turned to me.

“What’s funny?”

I immediately straightened my face, making it void of any humour, and shook my head.

"Why, then, were you laughing?”

“Nothing.”

“Are you okay?”

“Yes.”

He stared at me for a second more before turning away.

“Like it? We love it, Alpha!” Lia squealed again, and I had to look down to hold back the laughter. I bit my lip and tried to keep it in.
