Alpha Arthur’s POV

Ever since I fell in love with Hazel, my feelings for her have changed. If I were to be honest with myself, I began to feel differently about her from the time I saw her walk down the stairs with Aunt Mia, looking all prettied up and smelling nice. But I had paid no attention to it, nor had I attached anything to it until the evening I’d gone to her room and spent the night with her.

Now, my body reacted to hers. Even when she’s not near, thoughts of her keep clouding my senses. She was a virgin, and I had taken it, and somehow that made me feel possessive of her.
