Chapter 159

Hazel's POV

"Let’s take this route." Mama Mia suggested we use the back door to get into the manor. She was trying to avoid too much gossip and whispers from the pack members, and it was a good idea to me.

"Now let’s all get settled."

Everyone took seats in the Alpha’s parlour; it was very spacious. It easily and comfortably accommodated every one of us.

"We need to tend to the wounded first. Tell the maids to get me some clean towels, and I’ll also need a lot of space to concentrate. Let Ragel and the Alpha be the only ones occupying that seat."

The guards did as she instructed. The seat was big enough to accommodate the two men’s frames.

"Here are the towels, Mama Mia."

Hailen had since rushed out to go get the towels and a bowl of warm water.
