Chapter 5

I shivered as cold water soaked my dirty, ripped gown. Fear took over me. What was going to happen to me if truly the Alpha had found out what happened to me? If he had done extensive research and found out I had lied about my identity, though I personally thought two days was too short to have found out information like that so quickly, I can’t underestimate the power of an alpha.

Mama Lia, please save me. I have tried to live this long, but if truly the Alpha knew who I was, then only a miracle could save me. I need a miracle. Mama Lia, I prayed within me desperately.

I didn’t know tears were already rolling down when I felt a hand come to wipe them off. I looked to see that it was Allura.

"Shh. It’s okay."

"Yes, it will be."

Allura comforted me.

The prison guard wanted to drag me away from them, an indication he didn’t want his kind coming close to me — their lifelong enemy. Allura glared at him, and he frowned.

"This guard really did hat
