Chapter 12. Dark Wolf

Winona opened her eyes and saw an enormous black wolf in front of her. The wolf turned toward her and glared at her with angry eyes. However, the greenish-white light was now striking the wolf’s back. The black wolf growled in pain, and immediately its body glowed brightly with a dazzling golden yellow light. Its sharp teeth made Winona tremble with panic. However, a moment later, Winona realized that the wolf was actually trying to help her. She recognized the black wolf. It was the same one she had seen earlier. It was Richard Lerroy.

Winona wanted to say something to Richard, but fear had taken over her vocal cords. Not a single word came out of her lips, only meaningless screams. The wolf growled, telling Winona to leave, but then noticed that Winona’s dress was stuck.
