Chapter 14. Waking Up in an Embrace

Winona felt her body warming up and becoming comfortable after the terrible incident just now. Slowly, she opened her eyes and was shocked to see Richard Lerroy sleeping next to her, hugging her body. Winona gulped as her brain raced with questions. Why was this man hugging her? Hadn’t Richard always disliked her and been cold toward her?

Winona decided to release herself from the man’s embrace. She slowly tried to remove his hand from her body.
