Chapter 20. Hate You

Winona felt her whole body ache as she started to wake up. She blinked and felt a wet towel on her forehead. She also realized that she was in bed with clean clothes that seemed to have been changed recently. Winona was a little surprised because she was afraid that it was Richard who had changed her clothes, but when she turned around, sitting beside her was a maid who had fallen asleep on a chair.

Winona sighed as she shook her head. How could Richard Lerroy care about her condition? She had been dreaming that Richard was treating her wrist, but it seemed like it was just a dream. It was all impossible because Richard was a rude person who hated Winona. Winona hated men like Richard Lerroy, who couldn’t respect women.

Winona tried to move her aching body silently, but that only made the maid wake up.
