Chapter 45. Just Realized

Even if there were another werewolf who was capable of carrying such a magical item all the way to the top of the mountain, Richard wouldn’t let anyone be put in such danger. He would bear this risk alone. Martin knew no matter how he persuaded Richard, the man was stubborn. Martin didn’t know what to do now, apart from following all of Richard’s orders.

As soon as he got home, Richard immediately went into his room because he felt exhausted. However, as soon as he lay down on the bed, his eyes opened wide. He could only stare at the ceiling of his room without moving. His mind was so full that even the drowsiness disappeared.

Among the many thoughts that weighed on Richard, there was one thing that was so torturous. Before all this happened, Richard’s house had been quiet like this, but now it felt different. No woman had so much curiosity and couldn’t stop herself from asking questions. Richard smiled remembering Winona and how her beautiful eyes were always curious.
