Chapter 49. End of the First Act
At the right moment, Richard let out light from within his body. With that light, Richard’s eyes turned bright like a spotlight, and when he opened his mouth, a large light came out of it, equivalent to the scorching sun at noon. Juan screamed as the light hit his body. He tried to withdraw his fist, but it was too late.
At the same time, Richard bit Juan’s hand that was still reaching towards him and then slammed him on the ground. Juan’s body fell with a thump, making the ground around him crack. However, he was still able to throw a punch at Richard’s mouth quickly, so Richard let go of one of his hands that was in Richard’s mouth.
Richard then glanced around them and noticed that the vampires had already partially turned to dust, but not a few werewolves were injured; some were lying helpless, maybe even lifeless. Juan got back on his feet even though he, too, was injured. This battle was far from over. However, when Richard looked around, something was strange about
