Chapter 73. Juan’s Cooperation
“Come on, Martin. Young people are always on fire, right? Let them be like that,” said Maximus as if he was advising his children.
His ferocious face and sly smile really did not match his words that seemed to advise it. Juan refrained from showing a sneering expression.
“You guys have to work together. In a few days, I want to hear good ideas from you two. Go now,” Maximus said.
By saying that, it was as if Maximus was establishing himself as the leader over Juan as well. Unbeknownst to Juan, by agreeing to all of Maximus’ plans, if one day he became the king of the vampires, all vampires would submit to Maximus. Maximus’ power would be far greater than any werewolf in the world because he controlled vampires, too. One clap, two flies die. That’s the exact expression. Maximus would kill Richard Lerroy and then become the strongest werewolf king.
Maximus watched as his two tools were leaving together. Juan, the ambitious young vampire, was very easy to fool.
