Chapter 14. Selena's Fear

At 2 am, they were still together. Zidant and Selena were sitting at the dining table. Zidant was looking at the food Selena had prepared.

"Is it edible?"

"Yes, sir. Mushroom soup mixed with sliced meat will be delicious, I guarantee you'll like it."

Zidant didn't say anything further. He started eating Selena's dish.

Selena kept watching Zidant's facial expression. But the mafia boss didn't show any expression, just silence, which left Selena puzzled.

"Why is he not showing any expression?" Selena wondered to herself.

She continued observing Tuan Zidant. "His facial expression is still flat. I'm doomed; it seems like the dish is not tasty."

"Selena."
