Chapter 16. No Respect

A week has passed, but Mr Zidant has yet to return home. Meanwhile, Selena continues to be forced to work, even though she remembers Gio's words clearly that this wasn't her task. Selena is tired, taking on tasks that shouldn't be hers. The other maids are just chatting and not helping, and Selena wants to speak up but is afraid.

Selena sighs, "So tired." She wipes the sweat from her face.

Now, Selena has finished cleaning the front yard and trimming the overgrown grass. "When will this be done? I'm so hungry."

It's 3 in the afternoon. Selena has finally completed all the assigned tasks. She heads upstairs to her room to clean up.

Before entering her room, Selena notices five maids standing in front of it. She smiles politely and hopes there won't be more work, as she's exhausted.

"What is it?" Selena asks.

"Remember!! Don't tell anything to the Master. If he finds out, you'll face the consequences from all the work and guards in this house!!"
