Chapter 19. Why Did Their Attitude Change?

Selena entered the clean kitchen. There were several maids still on duty, giving Selena sharp glances. However, they didn't dare say anything to Selena, knowing that Master Zidant was in the house.

"Finally, I get to eat," Selena said as she began to cook.

Twenty minutes passed. Zidant had finished his shower and changed into black shorts and a white shirt with a horse logo. Zidant fell silent for a moment, then went into his private office within his room. It was a workspace only he was allowed to enter.

Meanwhile, Selena continued to wait for the mafia boss, who hadn't come out of his room yet, even though the food she had prepared was ready.

"Where is he? The food might get cold," Selena said.

Just as Selena was about to go and check on the mafia boss, Zidant came down from the second floor. Selena's lips immediately curved into a smile, as she was quite hungry.

"Sir, please have your meal."
