CHERYL
“Oh, Cheryl, I'm so sorry,” Gwen wailed and made a loud sniffle.
Oh, for crying out loud, Gwen.
I walked over to where she has remained seated ever since she had burst through that door, her eyes wide in panic. But as soon as she had seen me, she had broken down into ugly tears with fat tears rolling down her cheeks.
“Gwen, I still don't know what you have been apologizing for, but I can assure you that I'm fine,” I told her and patted her shoulder in consolation.
She shrugged off my hands roughly and glared up at me with red-rimmed eyes. “How can you say that, you were nearly raped!”
Oh! So that was the reason behind her terrible loud cries.
“What! Whoever the hell told you such a thing!” I scoffed as if the whole idea was unrealistic and downright outrageous.
Gwen's eyes narrowed to slits as her glare heated up. “Don't you fucking lie to me! Mr. Heron told me everything.”
