Chapter 19. Bullet Point

Now that the first day of school is done, we can finally relax. I’ve enjoyed the time off, but getting back into the rhythm of things has been challenging. This means you won’t be spending as much time in the apartment and, consequently, with Nash.

I had a lot of classes this semester, but thankfully I didn’t have to put in as much physical effort because I didn’t have any presentations, group projects, or laboratories. The pursuit of an arts degree was challenging nonetheless. Include things like readings for class, participating in class discussions, and actually showing up to class. When you only need to read three 40-page articles for one class, it’s all fun and games.

This year, I also began regularly attending seminars. They were difficult, cramped, and terrifying, but I had to take them to graduate from high school. There was intense pressure to contribute original thought and make a meaningful contribution to a class topic. I still went to school feeling bashful
