Chapter 64. Together

I walk out of my room and down the hall, where I can see that it is already getting late. This week, I worked at the pool every night except Friday and Saturday. And now it’s Monday. It had been more than a week since Halloween, and things were starting to get back to normal.

I go to the kitchen while the flat is quiet. I take a pizza out of the fridge and lean back on the counter while I turn the oven on to heat up. I thought most of them would be out because campus was getting busy. Asher and Caleb worked most weeknights so they could have the weekends off.
