Chapter 90. Black-Tie Affair

We have a great rest of the afternoon in bed. He tells me a few things about how he grew up. He also showed me his trophies and awards, which were not all for sports. Some were only for schoolwork, while others were for sports. He was always doing more than what was necessary.

So I could get ready, he left me alone in the bathroom. My hair and makeup were the best they could be. I didn’t want to look like I had too much going on. Just doing that last thing with Nash scared me enough. I tried to stand out. There was a big tub and a separate shower in his bathroom. But it looked more like me than the hotel and more like a farm than Apollo-11.

When I was done getting ready, I went outside and saw Nash, who was dressed to the nines. In his tux, which fit him very well, he looked sharp and light.
