Chapter 114. The Long Table

After we were done with the meeting people, we now had to go back to the VIP area and sit for dinner.

Food was brought and looked so good. I knew that I needed to eat but I didn’t feel hungry. I figured that it must have been because of the nerves.

I tried though. I tried my best to eat, mostly because so many eyes were on us. 

What made me even more nervous or anxious was the fact that we were all at this big table. It was not like Zach and I were alone, Mark was there too.

But I did not care much about the Beta. It was the fact that the elders, Vanessa, and even a few other people that I didn’t know were there.

Since the ceremony or event, I still had not seen the dark alpha yet. And maybe that was for a good reason. 

Although people from other packs were here, his case was different. As for him, he was one of the reasons the alpha’s parents were dead.
