Chapter 115. Stop the Ceremony

“Alpha Zach, do you take Omega Rue Belmond to be your Luna?” Elder Robert asked, the room getting so quiet that it felt like if a pin was dropped, everyone would hear it loud and clear.

My heart pounded in my chest and I waited for him to say the words that I felt like he was going to say. But I could not help but fear that maybe he would reject me. 

He held both of my hands and looked very confident. As he was about to speak, his eyes darted behind me and it looked like he had seen a ghost.

His face got pale and his pupils got so dilated that I got worried. I turned to see what had made him react like that.

And my eyes landed on the mysterious man from my run and the same one who had been staring at me from my window.

“What?” I asked, confusion smearing my tone and facial expression. I was confused as to what was happening.
