Chapter 167. Should I Disappear?

I stared at the ceiling, the faint sound of rain pattering against the window drawing my attention. The storm outside seemed to mirror the chaos inside me, relentless and unforgiving. My mind kept cycling through the events of the night, unable to find solace in the stillness of the room. 

Disappearing felt like the only solution. I won’t have to worry about Darco or his training. I won’t have to worry about the dance of the spirits. I won’t have to worry about shifting into my wolf by tomorrow night. 

I won’t have to even worry about Storm. I would be free. But where would I even go? I had nowhere. 

I mean, I could just leave and go wherever the wind carried me. I could join a rogue pack and just stay hidden there for the rest of my life, forsaking the so-called destiny that the Moon goddess had for me.
