Chapter 200. Back in Hell

I pressed my palm against my thigh to stop my leg from shaking. The orphanage–that place—loomed in my mind like a shadow that I could not get rid of. 

Memories filled my mind, tormenting me and making me feel like I was reliving it all all over again. But I needed to do this, there was no going back. This was the path to true destiny and I was ready to face it. 

When we arrived, Vanessa parked the car and removed her seatbelt before killing the engine. She glanced back at us and barely said anything before getting out of the car.
