Chapter 102. I'm a Mastermind

The man’s gaze was so strong, almost evil if I must say. He then looked away. His colleagues bid their farewell and then they were on their way. 

When they left, it felt like a heaviness had escaped the house, but because Vanessa remained, I could still feel some tension. She was in heels and she walked past me, the sound of them clicking on the marble tiles. 

Her head was held high, and the smirk on her face when she past me caused the anxiety in me to get worse. I really wanted to know what they were planning but I felt like there was no way. 

Or maybe there was? She had been willing to open up to me in that bathroom, right? Maybe that could happen again. Not in the bathroom but wherever she was right now. I followed her and tried to get her to talk to me. 

Considering how excited she looked, I just knew she was dying to tell someone what their plan was; dying to do some gossip. And maybe that was the weakness that I was going to try to exploit
