“Why do you want to know so bad?” She asked, adjusting herself on the couch. She was now crossed-legged, playing with a strand of her hair.
She sure loved touching her hair, but again, if I had the kind of hair she did, I might be doing the same too.
“Vanessa, come on,” I was practically begging her now. And trust me, I was not too proud to get on my knees right now if that needed to happen.
But I really needed to be able to help Zach. It’s the least that I could do.
She sighed and then chuckled weakly. “Look, omega. If you really want to help Zach, I’d suggest that you do one thing—leave. I don’t care where you go, just as long as it’s miles from here.”
“I—“ I did not know what to say. “But—but you know that he has to reject me or he will get sick again.”
“Yeah, but he won’t die.” She shrugged as if she did not
