Chapter 99. We Do Nothing

I waited for a response from Zach and Mark but both of them looked taken aback, as if they were waiting for me to say sike or something. But I was being serious, I had never been this serious in my life. 

“You’re joking, right?” Zach chuckled the words out as he adjusted himself on the couch, peeling his eyes off me and looking at his beta. “Are you hearing this, Mark?” 

“Yeah, but I—I don’t know. I mean, yeah, Vanessa’s pissed that you’re going to be marking Rue as your Luna, and that has been her dream but come on, would she really do that?” He asked, and after a few seconds, he chuckled without humor to himself and replied, “Yep, she definitely would.” 

“Exactly. You know how she can be if she does not get her way. So I don’t think she was bluffing or anything.” 

“Yeah,” Mark replied in a very breathy way. “So what do we do? Do we confront her about it?”
