Narrator’s POV
Lucas felt like a boss. He felt like a man on top of the world most days when he thought about his achievements in terms of sleeping with a desirable number of women. But Lucas didn’t start like this. He was never the confident type who had the kind of game or skill to woo a woman who was interested in him. Lucas was always the shy type when he was younger.
He was always the one who was fond of hiding in the dark whenever someone was out there looking for him. He was always the one fond of running away whenever his name was called out in public, but everything about Lucas changed when he got his heart broken.
Lucas was ten when he had a crush on a girl called Linda.
“I really like you,” Lucas had said to Linda before giving her the flower that he had bought for her.
