Our coffee cups had grown cold as we continued to talk about our dreams and aspirations, lost in the warmth of our connection. The bustling city outside seemed to fade into the background as we explored the depths of our desires.
Vince leaned in closer, his eyes never leaving mine. “Laura, what’s your biggest dream? Besides honoring your parents’ legacy in London, what else do you hope to achieve in life?”
I paused, considering his question. It was a topic I hadn’t discussed in a while, even with myself. “Well,” I began slowly, “aside from our London adventure, I’ve always dreamt of creating a foundation that supports underprivileged children. I want to give them access to education, art, and literature—things that shaped my own life so profoundly.”
Vince’s admiration shone brightly in his gaze. “That’s an incredible dream, Laura. I can see the passion in your eyes when you talk about it. I have no doubt you’ll make it a reality.”
