After a careful investigation was thoroughly conducted, Vince was declared innocent and free from all the charges that were placed on his head. He was set to be freed from where he was locked up a week later. I couldn’t believe that Vince would finally be free. I couldn’t believe that, finally, there was a way that I and Vince could be happy once more.
As I approached Joy’s house, gratitude overwhelmed me. The weight of uncertainty that had clouded Vince’s life was lifting, and it was all thanks to Joy’s unwavering defense. I knocked on the door, and Joy warmly welcomed me, her eyes reflecting the relief of a battle won.
“Thank you, Joy,” I began, “for everything you’ve done for Vince. I can’t express how grateful I am.”
Joy smiled, “Laura, defending the truth is not just about helping Vince; it’s about upholding justice. We all deserve to be heard, and the truth should prevail.”
