When I returned from the priest’s place, I felt kind of different. I felt like someone who had experienced something that I couldn’t easily say out loud.

By noon, I got a call from Melissa, telling me that she missed me and that she would like us to meet at a special place so we could talk about Vince and about our relationship moving forward.

“I am not interested in you,” I informed Melissa as I sat a bit far away from her in the place where she had told me to meet her.
