Chapter 18. No, Thanks. I Would Take the Bus

Mr. Blaine woke up and walked to the kitchen to prepare dinner. He finished preparing it and went to Laura's room to wake her up before he walked to his room and had his bath.

He walked out of his room later and met Laura already seated in her usual seat at the dining table.

"I found this," Laura said as she stretched a piece of paper toward her father.

"What's that?" Mr. Blaine asked before collecting the paper from Laura.

He read it out loud as soon as he opened it.
