Chapter 47. Like a Prostitute!

Vanessa woke up the next morning with her head hurting a little. She winced as she got out of bed and went to have her bath. 

She went down for breakfast and met her mother watching TV.

Even though she did not like the idea that much, it did not feel so bad to have her parents here in New York.

She greeted her mother who replied to her with the sweetest signature smile on her face.

"Good Morning to you too honey", Vanessa's mother replied.

"Have you had breakfast?", Vanessa asked hesitantly. The least she could do right now was to at least have meals with them; her parents, together as a family.

"It's past noon, honey. Of course, I have had breakfast", Mrs. Anderson replied, stating the obvious.

"Oh", Vanessa somehow felt sad by that. 

Mrs. Anderson walked towards her in large strides.

"Oh honey, you were sleeping and I did not want to wake you up", she said as she noticed the hurt look on Vanessa's face and took Vaness
