“Come on, Daddy. It’s just blood. You’ll survive.”
“That’s enough.”
“My second hole is still clean,” I grinned, tilting my head. “I’m horny. Okay? Do something.”

His voice cracked the air like a whip.
I froze.
He straightened his coat and smoothed a hand through his hair.
“You have an assignment,” he muttered darkly. “The Italian bastard will be thrilled to satisfy your… kitten. The intel you need will be on your device shortly.”
He paused.
“You can take your loyal dog with you.”
He gave Titan one last smoldering look, then walked out of the room without another word.
I waited to make sure he was gone.
“Are you CRAZY?!” I turned on Titan, fury bubbling up in me like acid. “What were you thinking?! You challenged Lord Vince—with a broken arm?! Do you want to DIE?!”
