Mom let go of me and wiped away my tears. Dad looked at me, but he didn't come over to hug me. I knew my parents loved me. Both were always affectionate with me. But unlike my mother, Dad didn't show his affection when he was angry. He was still furious because I separated from Lena and chose Carla. Dad told me he would never agree with the decision I made. I think I wouldn't either for the rest of my life.
