Alex's POV
As we sat by the fire, the sound of rain pounding against the shelter intensified. The storm outside grew stronger, its fury evident in the howling winds and relentless downpour. The atmosphere inside the shelter was chilly, and I couldn't help but notice Nathan hugging himself, trying to find warmth in his soaked clothes.
I glanced at him, concern etching my features. "Nathan, you're shivering. We need to find a way to warm you up. It's too cold to stay like this."
He looked up at me, his teeth chattering slightly. "I'm alright, Alex. Don't worry about me."
But I couldn't simply brush off his discomfort. I knew that being wet and exposed to the cold could lead to serious health issues. I needed to find a solution to warm him up, even if it meant revealing my vulnerability.
Without hesitation, I stood up and walked over to him. "Here," I said, taking off my own dry shirt. "Put this on. It'll help keep you warm."
