Alex's POV

The mayor being young and attractive surprised me. He appeared to be in his early thirties or late twenties, and his commanding presence drew the attention of everyone around him. He looked like someone who could be an alpha in a different pack.

"He is the mayor," Kyle confirmed, noticing my gasp of surprise.

"He looks like a model to me," I whispered in awe.

Kyle couldn't resist teasing me. "How about me? Can I be a model with this face?" He gave me a wink, which made me laugh.

"Stop doing that, Kyle. You look creepy with that wink," I said, trying to hide my amusement.

He raised an eyebrow playfully. "Such a shame. I was planning to give you a chocolate bar, but I guess you can't appreciate my charm."
