Chapter 2
After ten years after the awakened creatures by the birth of Star, they traveled around the cities as they looked for the strongest energy that was fit to be used as a key. According to the history of King Gusha by the two creatures, a girl marked at her lower back “star” will be the gateway of the Alpha and Viktor to rule over the world. They have visited more than one country in time.
As they reached Brooklyn, a new wave of energy flowed through their veins. Their blood boiled up in excitement. Michael, the Viktor, had fangs that lingered and protruded unexpectedly. He departed from Eric, whose body had started changing also. They were both ready to tear up any young girl at the age of ten.
Michael knew he could now access the world on his own. He only had one limitation — he could not produce a replica. He departed from Eric, knowing the battle had just begun having known the center of focus. Michael went into solitude to have the bliss of his life with a girl he had already kidnapped.
The little girl had stayed on the bridge late in the night waiting for her mother, who went to get her a teddy that she had left at the children’s playground. Michael moved to her. He bent, showing compassion.
“Little baby, where’s your momma?”
The innocent girl shifted back in fear as she had been warned not to talk to strangers.
“Come on, cutie! I mean to do you no harm. Would you at least let me walk you up to that shop as this place is dangerous?”
He looked at her with clear watery eyes as he entered her mind, making her act repulsive.
The little girl followed him, holding his hand. You would think he was her father the way he was smiling as he walked her to an old abandoned chapel where he sucked the hell out of her. After sucking a gulp of blood, he roared in e****** as his dead skin shivered.
He bit her the second time with his pointed fangs. The girl screamed in pain as her body shuddered. This time, he drank of her till she gave up the ghost. Michael stood up and rolled back with a dark laugh. He shouted in anger, “This is my world!”
It’s been a little over three months since Alpha and Viktor came into Brooklyn, and a series of cases has been filed at the police station.
In the reports, both old and young had been killed and dumped in strange ways. The most amazing part of it was the fact that they either found two deep holes on the side of their necks or their bodies were mercilessly torn out of shape. The bodies of the victims would either be damp and turned pale or scratched with rotten bruises.
Eric Alpha found an abode in the deep woods of Brooklyn. He built an empire for himself and his arriving pack. It was a deserted cave made of crystal bricks. Each corner was decorated with lit candles.
He went to clubs and large gatherings where he could find aggressors. In the end, he ended up going home with a molester who wanted to rape a high school girl. The molester pinned down the frail girl as he was unbuckling his fitted trousers. Eric, who was angered at his effortless search, poured it all on him as he moved in speed like a blowing wind, his brown hair growing in number out of his skin as he overshadowed the man. He lifted him with the tip of his nails clinging to his cloth. The girl lay down in fear and fainted upon seeing a terror she had never seen in her life.
He used his duplicate right arm to claw the brute’s heart away from his chest.
In his cave, after disappearing with the body into thin air, Eric fed on the plucked heart. It was the most delicious part because it replenished his soul. He sat down on his created throne, and his hands dripped with blood. He returned to his human state and disposed of the body in the woods.
It was twenty-two years of Alpha and Viktor’s existence, almost the twenty-third year in the very month of December. The police got nothing on the disturbing reports of daily piled-up corpses found on the streets and in the trees around the hood.
Every family had suffered a loss. No one knew who would be next. Everyone was a potential food to the ‘deadly animals,’ as stated by the expert doctors in the research lab. Experts carried out various forensic experiments on the corpses and never found such venom indicated to exist in any breed of a known animal.
Eric Alpha decided to meet his friend ‘Michael Viktor.’ He lived in affluence for the years Eric knew him. Eric was oppressed by the constant killing and kidnapping that was reported daily in the news.
He only dealt with bad guys. He found out that a once abandoned chapel would be grand if surely renovated by a rigid vampire empire. It would be changed into a glassy empire.
He lurked around to be sure of the business that went on within the premise. He was about to be taken hold of by two standing guards who he thought might have been tamed by him. He impatiently unleashed his human persona and grabbed them by their necks.
He broke the door open, throwing the dead guards away.
“Is that how you greet a long-time friend, Eric Alpha?” Michael blurted. Two ladies were behind him, massaging his shoulder, two beside, one caressing him with an oily lubricant by his right and the other by his left, pouring him blood.
“Come, Eric Alpha, and get a taste of this bliss!”
Eric, who stood in awe, turned into his human stature. He whined his neck swiftly to straighten up and moved closer to Michael as he spoke.
“Don’t tell me you killed, kidnapped, and tamed hundreds of humans here? You are going too far, and I’m afraid I will never let you attain the clout you wish for as you have practically displayed your foolishness.”
“Careful with your words, Eric,” he said as he told his tamed ladies to leave the place for him and continued, “Don’t you forget we both killed and kidnapped; I guess you had no power to tame.” He stood from his seat and moved towards Eric.
“Let this get into your husky skull! I am not a patient one, you know.” His fangs grew as he talked, “If you have no important thing to tell me, it’s better you leave before I lose it all.”
His fangs drew back in.
Eric looked him straight in the eyes. He pointed two fingers at his eyeballs.
“We shall see,” he grimaced and turned to leave. He heard Michael’s resounding laughter as he passed through the doorstep.
