Keira’s POV

As I walked into Clint’s office, I felt excitement creeping up my spine. I could not shake off the atrocious things we had said and done yesterday.

My eyes found Clint, who was nose deep in paperwork as he sat behind his desk. His eyes moved to me, and I felt my heart skip a million beats.

I took a seat on the couch. Today just felt noticeably different, and I knew why.

“Hey Keira, how is it going?” Clint asked with a warm smile.
