Chapter 156. Disturbing Stranger
I wrapped my hand around Clint’s arm as we strolled along the sun-kissed beach. The sand felt warm beneath my bare feet, and the rhythmic crash of the waves created a soothing soundtrack to our leisurely walk.
It was a beautiful summer day, and the beach was brimming with life. People of all ages dotted the shoreline, their laughter and chatter blending with the gentle breeze.
“It is quite crowded today,” I remarked, glancing around at the vibrant scene unfolding before us.
Clint smiled and nodded, his eyes scanning the bustling shoreline. “Yeah, weekends are always like this. Everyone is out to enjoy the sun and the sea.”
While I enjoyed the beach when it was quieter, I also didn’t feel uncomfortable because Clint was the person I wanted to be around. As long as he was here, nothing else really mattered.
We continued our stroll, navigating through the clusters of families, couples, and groups of friends. The beach was a kaleidoscope
