“I remain shocked at your birthday wish, Leo,” Isabella finally spoke, but her tone was without judgment.
She hardly spoke in class or bullied people like Shannon and Beauty did. Her good looks and family fortune kept people at her mercy.
“You have a good heart, Leo,” she continued.
She never seemed as bad as the rest of the class, but he always wondered why she surrounded herself with toxic people. Anyway, it wasn’t as though he could ever be friends with her. He just didn’t enjoy being in her company and couldn’t force himself to do so.
